How wonderful to have totally available and reliable hosts to share information and themselves. Rooms are clean, comfy and quiet. The Inn provides lots of choice for breakfast and they were very accommodating when they learned that we were gluten intolerant. Easy place to be for a nice get away.

We took a little mid-week get-a-way to Wimberley. Found the Wimberley Inn listed under "bed and breakfast." The grounds are nice--slightly tamed hill country--so that was quite nice. The owners were entirely pleasant--the rules we read about in reviews were pretty much just common sense and courtesy. The whole area is a septic system situation, so consideration of the balance is needed.
Our room was perfectly clean, but had no personality whatsoever. We did think that for a lesser price, we could have stayed in a La Quinta and at least had a bigger TV. Breakfast only happens on weekends and holidays--so it was not what we thought of as a "bed and breakfast." The breakfast served on Saturday was very nice with a selection of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, etc.
Tough call on whether we would return. Nice owners, nice grounds, really clean room, but a generic room without some of the perks of generic chain lodging.

Absolutely loved this charming inn. The owners Denise and Dan were very charming, pleasant and willing to help in any way. Just real people. We had a few mishaps while visiting Wimberley and they were so helpful. The beds are very comfy, bedding /pillows clean and soft. There are a few rules for guests to follow, but with limited space and water in Wimberley I was happy to keep natural resources just the way they are.......Beautiful! Other reviews mentioned the lack of micro, fridge and updated tv. All I have to say is what's the big deal, bring a cooler, eat out and a tv is a tv. I'd rather it be more affordable then have all the extra comforts. If that's important to you then, stay somewhere more expensive in the area. Will be staying again in the future!

My daughter and I went to WImberley for a little mini-break. Denese & Dan could not have been nicer, and the inn is really great. This isn't a fancy luxury B&B where you have to be paranoid about the doilies and teapots — it's a cozy, laidback inn, impeccably clean and comfortable.

The grounds are peaceful and serene, yet it's walking distance to the Corral Theatre, a very short drive to Blue Hole, and 5 minutes to the square. The simple continental breakfast was outstanding, highlighted by delicious coffee, Denese's homemade organic muffins, and an assortment of tasty treats. Plus, we got to say good morning to 3 little deer just off the deck!

We will be back. Highly recommended.

The Wimberly Inn could use some TLC for sure. The check in was easy and the service was helpful. As was stated before, the lady likes to tell you all the do's and don'ts which can be a pain in the butt after travelling. I had a king size bed in my room and paid $109 a night. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC works fantastic! I got my room down into the low 60's which was great since it was 106 outside. Room came with tv, (old school), table and chair, bathroom, sink with counter. No fridge. No microwave. No iron. There is a free continental breakfast on weekends and holidays. Overall, it was a decent room but I would stay at a B and B if I went with my wife.

We stayed at the Wimberley inn because of a wedding we were attending in the area. After reading one of the reviews on the inn we were concerned but they couldn't have been more wrong. We had a fabulous experience. The owners were so hospitable and kind. We had our grandsons with us and they helped to accommodate all their needs.

Give them a try! You won't be sorry!

This is truly one of the most enchanting spots available in the hill country! The rooms are spectacularly clean, and there is a bit of rumor about an occasional paranormal visitor or two from time to time. Lots of viewtastic driving in the area, unusual shops and markets available and big name music available too! Awesome and peaceful way to spend a weekend or a week!

Room Tip: Spend the extra money for the European suites!
