Average food, poor service, closed the day we chose and drove miles to go back the next night because it had been recommended.

“Solid Tex Mex”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

Just a little ways outside of town, we decided to have lunch. We had been in search of tamales at Jean's Antiques. They are no tamales there anymore. Like the atmosphere at Milagro's. The food is good. I had Chili Relleno. Would be nice if they had a beef or cheese version too. We all had various entrees and everyone thought the food was good.

At the waiter's recommendation, we had the hot margarita as in pepper hot tequila that they make themselves. Interesting! and HOT! I thought it was good. My daughter did not.

“Best lunch in the Courtyard at the Junction, on weekdays.”
Reviewed March 16, 2012

Visited Milagro's for lunch after finding Brewster's not open. Interesting but not great.

Mexi-fried steak was good, Mexican rice was salty for my taste and the black beans were bland.

Check out the blue cheese nachos and quesadillas. They were good.

A little out of Wimberly, so be warned before driving.

“Pleasantly Surprised”
Reviewed March 3, 2012

We went their for their excellent bread pudding but decided to have dinner also - it turned out to be an excellent decision.
We have eaten at Milagros in the past, but were never impressed with the entrees, this time things were completely different. Each of us had something different and we were all impressed with our plates. They must have changed some staff in the kitchen or something; whatever they did, they did it right because we left "fat and happy" and looking forward to the next visit.
