“Good pizza - slow service”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

The pizza was great! It seemed like the people working there knew just about every customer...except us. Overall the place was nice and the pizza was great, it was just a little bit slow.

Based on the taste it's worth the wait.

“Love it!”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Brewster's is a charming family run business that is my favorite place to stop for pizza. It is reliably good and fresh! We come frequently because it is on the way home and even when it is busy and they are backed up, they are always welcoming and friendly. My favorite is the herbivore...Fresh spinach, asparagus, back olives, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. Yummy!
They also have a micro brewery which provides an interesting selection of beers.

“Pretty expensive for below-average pizza”
Reviewed June 30, 2012 via mobile

We gave this place two chances, and it was worse the second time. The pizza is below average, nothing special, and definitely not worth the prices charged. And when we were there, there were flies. Lots of flies. I understand that it's summer in Texas, and that it's hard to keep the flies from coming in the door. But when there are dozens of them swarming around the dining room, it makes me wonder what's going on in the kitchen area. Especially when Milagro's (next door) doesn't seem to have this problem. Overall, I'd have to recommend you pass on Brewster's Pizza when in Wimberley.

“Great beer, great pizza!”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

The best place to sit out on the deck and drink a huge beer! I love coming here! The Brewster pizza was super good! Beers are very fun to try and are very tasty! Family is very nice! Very relaxing! You pay more for specialty but I think it's worth it!

“The toppings are still skimpy...”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

Okay, so we like the pizza and sitting on their deck in nice weather - we also live 10 minutes away, so we'd like to like it more! We went again this last week and because we are old and boring, we like the pepperoni with an addition of bell pepper and jalapenos. So for $1.45 per topping which is incredibly expensive for what you get, and when you think of how cheap those veggies are, and you'd also think that they would serve the pizza with the skimpy toppings all over the pizza and not thrown onto the pizza in a lump right in the middle. Or better yet, cut the 5 pepper slices into smaller pieces and then throw them ALL OVER the pizza. Maybe try to fool the customer into thinking they got more than just 5 slices of bell pepper and maybe 6 rounds of jalapenos. Come on guys - we like coming there and like the fact that your kids work there. They are really cute and that you are instilling in them good work ethics but get the cook to be a little more wild and generous with throwing those toppings around especially on a really boring pepperoni pizza. Should I bring my own peppers and jalapenos next time?
