“Consistently pleasing...”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

The Leaning Pear is arguably the best weekday lunch and weekend dinner place in Wimberley. Always popular and now building a whole new facility overlooking Cypress Creek, the staff is friendly and efficient. The food is great using as much local and natural produce and meat as possible. Parking can be a challenge during construction but the locals are happy to wait a few minutes. Enjoy the shady deck especially if, like Helen and I, you are a dog person.

“Small treasure”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

This is one of those tiny gems you come across every once in awhile. The food is outstanding, fresh, inventive and local. No matter how hot it is I always have their soup which is made fresh everyday. I can't say enough about the quality. The only draw back is that the seating is limited so you have to wait some days but it's always well worth it. This has to be our favorite place in Texas.

“Awesome!”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

We just happened upon this place and, being hungry, decided to chance it. It was, despite the outside appearances, fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend the Caprese Panini and the Pecan and Currant Tuna Salad. OMG! I'm drooling while I write this!

“OMG”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

This is by far my most favorite restaurant EVER! Sandwiches, salads, and soups. Menu is mostly local, organic, fresh ingredients. Soups (2) change daily depending on what's available. THe special of the day changes too. Try the jumbo lump crab cake when they have it. The BBLT (bacon, brie, lettuce tomatoes) is to die for. You have to give this place a try. It is not to be missed.

“Tasty Fresh Food”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

This small restaurant goes all out to prepare tasty, unique dishes. Seating is both inside and out. It is a bit pricey but worth it.
