Formerly Al's. New owner, Steve Dansby has vowed to keep the vintage establishment as it was originally. Booking live music weekends, good food, and friendly fellowship. A great place to take a short ride for a good time. Bikers welcome. Special events include chili cookoffs, crawfish boils, and other seasonal events and entertainment. Specializing in catfish on Fridays. Hamburgers are terrific.

This place is awesome. The people are friendly and welcoming. The origional floor boards make for a wobbly walk, and this just adds to the country charm of this little place. They serve cold beer and have a burger joint in the back. Occasionally they have live music, some of the best local musicians around come to perform in this historical building. A porch swing on the front porch is a meeting place for locals to sit and swap stories. This place is wonderful and I recommend it to anyone who loves Texas, good people, cold beer, and grest music.

That is what the sign above the biker bar that is the Tokio Store (Circa 1840) says. And it is a friendly but really scary rough looking crowd. I followed the American Legion Riders up yesterday for a canned food drive the Boozefighters was holding for the local food bank and had a soft drink and a sausage wrap and hung out for a while--it is a piece of living history, for sure: Live bands all the time, bikers, cheap beer and good grub. Menu is somewhat limited--hamburgers, sausage wraps, chips, soft drinks, but $5 get you all of the above. Live music all the time. Check it out, it is literally the only thing in town! You are 4 miles from the town of West, Texas. (it's West of West) I would GPS it the first time. Here is the bottom line--these people are cool, and there has never been a problem there, and it is probably the safest place you could ever be.
