My sister and I stayed at Chaska House on September 21, 2013. The proprietors are cordial and helpful host/hostess who had made Chaska House into a magnificent, and comfortable Victorian bed and breakfast. Beautiful antiques abound in all rooms, with comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Louis and Linda go out of their way to make your experience one to remember. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: The Mitchell Room on the first floor was beautiful! Rooms on 2nd floor are a bit smaller, but still...

My Mom, sister and I had such a fun time in waxahachie this past weekend! We stayed in the Retreat at the Chaska house and enjoyed the eclectic island/travel decor in the suite. We relaxed and thoroughly took advantage of the boutiques, antique shops, and Getzendaner park while visiting. We also dined at the best restaurants, as recommended by Linda and Louis, and even visited a wonderful church service right around the corner from the B&B! This 100 year-old home is absolutely gorgeous. Full of all the character you would expect from a turn of the century Victorian, yet boasting all the luxurious amenities of a modern hotel, this was one of the top B&B experiences we have had. The breakfasts were delectable and the conversation delightful. I fully recommend the Chaska House for your getaway!!

We stayed here for an all girls, 40th birthday celebration. The home is beautiful and spacious. The upstairs bedrooms were well furnished and big enough for all 7 of us to sit and visit. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were huge and sparkling clean. We enjoyed fresh baked cookies when we returned from dinner, a delicious breakfast and visiting with our gracious hosts.

Room Tip: Be warned the Roosevelt room has a skylight over the bed. The Shakepeare and Twain rooms were just...

Linda and Louis are as nice as could be. The house and rooms and grounds are beautiful even though you are only minutes from DFW. Breakfast was delicious and they really have all the little details perfect to make for a stress-free stay. We hope to go back again soon!

A friend and I stayed three nights. We were in the Retreat Hemingway One. It was great! The breakfast we had every morning where excellent! Great service and clean and neat! Would stay there again. We meet several very nice folks staying there over Memorial Day weekend.

We spent two nights here during the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails festival. The B&B was a lovely respite from the busy pace of the Dallas suburb we call home. The Gatsby suite was lovely and had everything we could have wanted. Breakfasts were delicious and filling.
