My Mom, sister and I had such a fun time in waxahachie this past weekend! We stayed in the Retreat at the Chaska house and enjoyed the eclectic island/travel decor in the suite. We relaxed and thoroughly took advantage of the boutiques, antique shops, and Getzendaner park while visiting. We also dined at the best restaurants, as recommended by Linda and Louis, and even visited a wonderful church service right around the corner from the B&B! This 100 year-old home is absolutely gorgeous. Full of all the character you would expect from a turn of the century Victorian, yet boasting all the luxurious amenities of a modern hotel, this was one of the top B&B experiences we have had. The breakfasts were delectable and the conversation delightful. I fully recommend the Chaska House for your getaway!!
