Rosa's always has a crowd, presumably because of modest prices, decent food and fast service. The ample menu variety will satisfy most customers, and the more "New Mexico" style of cuisine those who prefer a more authentic Northern Mexican over Tex-Mex. The restaurant has a pleasing decor appropriate to the style of food, with an amply stocked "fixings" bar.
Ordering is at the counter, but the food is ready and your number called quite quickly. The food is above average, but be prepared to pay for chips and salsa - an included "extra" in almost any other Mexican restaurant. Both the fresh hot flour tortillas and sopapillas are very good, and fresh tortillas are offered for sale to take home.
