Owner description: A museum dedicated to the nation's oldest major soft drink - Dr Pepper! We offer three floors of exhibits featuring information about many different soft drinks, as well as a carefully curated selection of our massive soft drink memorabilia collection. Exhibits change regularly! You can visit our soda fountain and gift shop any time without paying admission. Photo ops outside the Museum include a Dr Pepper Green 1940s delivery truck, one of three original neon signs from the Mockingbird Plant in Dallas, and a hand-painted advertising sign original to the site. Of course the front of the Museum building itself is visitors' favorite photo location. We are a two block walk from Magnolia Market and the famous silos, and about half a mile from the newest restaurants including Torchy's Tacos and In-N-Out Burger.

We discovered the Dr. Pepper museum and just as a bit of serendipity decided to visit. In a relatively non-nondescript building the museum is filled with the rich history of both Dr. Pepper, created in Waco, and the city of Waco. Exhibits about tje origin of the soft drink and of carbonated beverages in general are educational and fun. A section on the devastation of the F5 tornado that hit Waco in 1953 is a real eye-opener about the destructive force of these storms. The Dr. Pepper museum is definitely worth a visit.

Fun tour of museum. Inexpensive and worth it if you are visiting Waco. Plenty of parking. They also house a great pictorial archive of the 1952 tornado that hit Waco.

We were pleasantly surprised by this museum that manages to make Dr. Pepper interesting enough to fill a building. It was a well done exhibit and seemed recently updated to include just the right balance of reading and memorabilia. We spend 1-2 hours there. Free parking just across the street.

Gift shop was small but I'm sure big Dr. Pepper fans could find something to buy. Adult admission tickets got a tiny sample of Dr. Pepper or other soda right from the fountain. Kids were disappointed they didn't get one and it really seemed silly not to include everyone.

Third floor was a very odd display about the companies long time president.

We picked up discount coupons at the visitor center next to the TX Ranger Museum.

Don't bother unless you are a big Dr. Pepper fan. Certainly don't go out of your way. It's worth about 3 bucks, not the $8 they charge. On the other hand, a Dr. Pepper collector would probably love it.

My husband has been drinking Dr. Pepper since he was a kid so we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit & go through this museum! There is a reasonable fee to enter the museum - $8 for Adults, $5 for Kids, and $6 for Seniors. This is a small museum with a few floors of memorabilia although there is a lot to see and read and really appreciate! We absolutely loved it! This museum shows you how Dr. Pepper was created and has evolved over the years, the advertising & commercials, the old "coke" machines, history of the 10-2-4 club, and so much more! When you purchase your admission ticket you are given a token that you can either use for a DP float (so so yummy!!!) or 20% off purchases from their gift shop. You can't go wrong eith way!
