Owner description: A museum dedicated to the nation's oldest major soft drink - Dr Pepper! We offer three floors of exhibits featuring information about many different soft drinks, as well as a carefully curated selection of our massive soft drink memorabilia collection. Exhibits change regularly! You can visit our soda fountain and gift shop any time without paying admission. Photo ops outside the Museum include a Dr Pepper Green 1940s delivery truck, one of three original neon signs from the Mockingbird Plant in Dallas, and a hand-painted advertising sign original to the site. Of course the front of the Museum building itself is visitors' favorite photo location. We are a two block walk from Magnolia Market and the famous silos, and about half a mile from the newest restaurants including Torchy's Tacos and In-N-Out Burger.

“Enjoy the Long History of the Pepper Upper!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

I didn't think I'd care for this but my wife really wanted to see it and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Pepper has a long history and gets right to the point of what good company leadership can do in a capitalist country. If you're a Pepper you should see this for sure. They have the old bottling machines and up to and including the old advertising signs, radio and TV commercials, and bottles that go way, way back. Actually you'll enjoy this whether you're a "Pepper" or not because it presents a side of American entrepreneurship a lot of us should know and practice.

“A fun visit for all ages”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

I was skeptical about how interesting a soda museum would be, but then I visited this little gem. This is a treat for the whole family, with info and activities for all ages. Lots of history - and yes, memorabilia - but presented very well, with lots of interactive activities. This will be especially enjoyable for baby boomers, who will remember many of the Dr Pepper radio and TV commercials on display. Waco takes a lot of pride in this museum and it shows! Allow an hour to browse the museum, more time if you want to include a visit to the soda fountain.

“Worth a stop if you like memorabilia”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

While this is an interesting stop if you like history or are a huge fan of soda (not just Dr. Pepper,) I thought it was overpriced for what you get. We were most looking forward to our "free sample" but that was only for adult admissions. So for the three of us we had one free token and the line at the soda counter was way too long to bother with. I'm sure if you go at a time other than spring break that would not be the case.

My kids love Dr. Pepper and this was a dream for them! Lots of history that was very well presented! The stop by the soda fountain was the cherry on top!
