Great addition to the hotels close to Baylor. Nicely decorated and lots of extra touches. The beds were very comfortable. The internet connection worked fine. Check in/out was very quick. The bath had oversized shower and shower head. The hot tub was nice. The pool is not heated but has a very nice setup with half of it covered. Nice area for summer time visitors. The exercise room had good equipment and was adequate space. Great deal compared to other area hotels.

Room Tip: The center rooms are slightly larger. We stayed in 240 which seemed to be one of the larger rooms.

This hotel is beautiful! Very clean, modern, with a god bar and restaurant. The staff was always courteous and helpful. Our daughter is a student at Baylor, so the location is perfect! Our king size bed was wonderful! The sheets were crisp and the down pillows fantastic! The bath towels were nice and thick and the Aveda amenities a nice touch. I love the colors that were used in our room and throughout the hotel. If there is one criticism it would be not having a cozier rug underfoot when you get out of bed. It was 29 degrees outside during our stay and it just felt a bit "cold" stepping onto hardwood. To sum it up, this hotel would be our first choice for any future trips to Waco!

The entire staff is happy to hear how much you enjoyed your stay! Our Housekeeping team takes much pride in making sure our pillow top mattresses are always topped with clean and crisp sheets and the towels are always fresh and fluffy.
We are also happy to hear you enjoyed Brazos Bistro & Lounge. This contemporary and relaxed eatery is rapidly becoming the favorite hangout for locals and travelers alike. Make sure to ask Andrew, our Master Mixo-logist for one of his signature Cocktails!

Thank you for making us your hotel of choice!

Kindest regards

This Hotel may not seem to be located in the ideal neighborhood but what a great find. You can walk to most entertainment and eateries. The hotel is ultra modern and decorated very upscale. The entire staff is very customer oriented. I would recommend this to all age groups. It has fitness center and pool and hot tub. A nice outdoor area for relaxing.

Thank you for sharing Waco and Baylor University's best kept secret! The hotel was built in this specific area so as to be in perfect proximity to the entertainment district in Downtown Waco as well as the New Baylor Bears Stadium and University! The Ownership chose our contemporary and spa like design to bring a little bit of luxury to the hotel scene in Waco at a wonderful price!
The entire staff is here for you because we realize your happiness keeps us all in business!
Can't wait to see you again!

OK, this is just my opinion so let me just start by saying this place is great. it's just a little to cold and contemporarily designed for me. The wood floors in the rooms are pretty but in my opinion they need large rugs to cover the floor around the bed. The chair in the room was stiff and uncomfortable. NICE BIG shower! Nice bar and restaurant downstairs. Also looked like it has some meeting room. Nothing i know of was offered free, like breakfast or drinks in the evening. I was with a wedding party and the deadline for the room was up by the time I reserved the room, but they gave me the discounted price anyway. I really appreciated that. The room was moderately priced at $138 which included the taxes for Q or K room. I slept great for two nights. Beds were comfortable. No issues with cleanliness. They do accept pets for a $75 non-refundable deposit and $10 a night. Overall a good experience and a good stay. it was also within walking distance of our venue! Good location. Lots of places to eat close by.

Thank you for all your kind words! The more contemporary, spa like design sets us apart from the other older and more typically designed hotels in the area. We've added beautiful tropical plants throughout the hotel and will be adding additional artwork from talented local artists to create a wonderful atmosphere with local color, flavor and design as well! Please click on our photo gallery to see what we offer!
Although some of the 3 star hotels may offer a complimentary microwaved breakfast at the Indigo we feature Kurig Coffee in all rooms, Aveda lotions, shampoos and conditioners as well as wonderful pillow top mattresses, crisp clean linens and soft and fluffy towels. Our Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all made fresh daily with many products being brought in from local growers and very moderately priced.
We aim to exceed expectations so please visit us and see for yourself why we are and will be your choice for lodging and dinning when in Waco or visiting Baylor University!

We stayed 3 nights during our stay in Waco. It is a very nice, modern hotel. Clean lines, nice lighting in the lobby. A conference was going on during our stay so where they would do the conference food set-up in the front lobby which made it not as inviting for others to use the bar/restaurant area which is all one area. What else was a little weird was on our floor, 3rd, a conference room was right across from our bedroom at the end of the hall & the night we arrived a hospitality room was right in the middle section of the hallway on our floor. They were a little loud at 11:00 pm. Luckily our room was away from them so we didn't have to hear them.
Pool area & workout area very nice & clean.
Our room was nice and as I stated, very comfortable bed & would love to have bought a pillow. Small fridge in each room & Keurig coffee maker, just wish they would give you more than 2 regular coffee pods. We had to go down to the front desk each morning to get more coffee.
What would make the hotel better is:
1. Real coffee creamers in the fridge instead of only powdered packets.
2. Robes
3. More coffee in rooms or free coffee in the morning with to go cups in the lobby.
4. That you can turn on only a light in the bathroom. Every time you turn on the bathroom light the vent comes on, it's loud. A heater in the bathroom would also be nice or as I stated a robe.
Would recommend this hotel, very good central location. Close to Baylor & restaurants.

What a great staff at the hotel! We just had a group of 100 meet at Hotel Indigo and you could not have asked for better service! From the hotel manager who was hands-on, to each of the wait staff, we were treated so well. The size of our group was bit large for the character of the hotel, but the General Manager along with everyone working there made sure our stay was comfortable. Ant they jumped hoops to accommodate us.

If you are planning a conference in Waco, please consider this location. We all had a wonderful time.

Thank you on behalf of the entire team at the Hotel Indigo! The General Manager tends to receive a lot of the thanks and accolades when in reality events like yours would not be a success without the efforts of people like Eduardo and Barbara who handle the constant cleaning and up keep of your meeting rooms and food tables and our banquet servers such as Zach, Matt and Melanie who enthusiastically attend to everyone's wishes.
Your group was a pleasure to serve as they all made us feel very appreciated!

Kindest regards,

Daryl & the Banquet team!

I have been traveling to Waco for the last year and just recently stumbled upon this boutique hotel and what a lovely surprise. It is contemporary, convenient and clean as a whistle. The rooms are huge and the beds are so comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant and utilized room service. But while all this is great what really shined was the staff! Everyone from the front desk to the food service staff to housekeeping took such great care of us. I spent 8 days there and they made me feel like I was the only guest they were serving. How often does that happen? Finally, a few days after my stay, my daughter who is a student in Waco got the flu. I called at 9 a.m. to see if they had a room for her that night telling them that she was sick and needed to get out of the dorm. The young man working the front desk, Meraj B. said yes they did and have her come right on over and they would have the room ready. As a mom and a customer I was grateful. When my daughter arrived a short time later she found water, various juices, healthy snacks and a get well card from the hotel waiting in her room. Now that is service and Meraj has my respect and gratitude.
