This museum is located at the airport in Tyler. It has an inside and an outside display and there are volunteers to show the visitor around outside. Outside there are several fixed wing aircraft and two helicopters. There's also an old LaSalle automobile from the thirties. The inside is quite extensive. Inside are areas depicting the various wars from WWI to the present. There is also an area about the space program and another area devoted to women in aviation. The place has military uniforms from throughout the 20th century. It also has military items which have been donated. If you like military history and are ever in Tyler, you should be sure and visit this museum.
