Stayed here for 4 days back in August 2012 and had a great time. Fine food at the lobby restaurant, friendly & courteous staff service, clean rooms, pleasant setup and layout of the hotel's outdoor grounds, decent gym facility, NICE swimming pool & jacuzzi.

The Negative: We booked one night in a jacuzzi suite here directly through the hotel website. When we arrived and looked in our room however, we were very disappointed to find a small jetted tub in our room instead of the large, beautiful jacuzzi from the photos on the website. I spoke with the front desk employee and he apologized for the misunderstanding, but all of the three large jacuzzi rooms were already booked so he was unable to change our room. However, he did take $10 off of our room rate. The other issue that we experienced (only a minor annoyance) was that the front desk employee answered the phone at least three times while we were speaking to him and instead of saying "please hold" to the person on the line and attending to the people standing in front of him, continued the conversations while we waited awkwardly until he finished. The room was nice, but we could not get the inner curtains to close all the way and the flood light right outside the window was blinding.

The Positive: Overall, the room was clean and spacious and tastefully decorated, as was the hotel. The bed with adjustable firmness was very comfortable. The best part about our stay was the breakfast. It wasn't complimentary, but it was worth the extra cost. Everything was laid out beautifully. The fruit was fresh and delicious, the made-to-order omelet was good, and, of course, no breakfast is complete without that waffle maker with Carbon's Golden Malted mix. The breakfast hostess was very pleasant and attentive.

Loved staying at this hotel. Will be my first choice next time. The hotel was very clean. Our room was a little on the small side but we weren't in it very much. It has a nice indoor pool which my kids loved. The breakfast was a little expensive but good.

I have to say, this was a wonderful stay. The staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms are a good size and everything was neat and clean. Loved the hotel restaurant and bar. The food was excellent. We ate dinner and breakfast. I asked for and got a room on the 3rd floor not far from the elevators. The internet connection was very good. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definately stay here again.

The Hilton Garden Inn excels in every aspect. The grounds are well-landscaped and maintained. The hotel and rooms are immaculate. The hotel staff is incredible. They are well-trained, professional, efficient, and always courteous. The rooms are well-insulated so there is no noise from overhead or next door. The furnishings in the room are stylish and comfy. The bed is very, very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The shower was glass-enclosed and similar to what many are accustomed to in their homes. The showerhead was new and worked well. Everything appeared to be new as if the Hilton Garden Inn had just opened. We were in Tyler for wedding and didn't have time to visit the lounge. The indoor pool and hot tub were very nice. The hotel is close to a large selection of dining establishments.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip and the hotel was great. The rooms were very nice and clean, the lobby was also nice. There is a hotel/bar adjacent to the lobby area, for breakfast you can order eggs or omeletes from the grill as well as bacon and sausage. They also have other continental type items available. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend to others.
