Staff was very friendly. Room was clean but towels were thread bare.
Breakfast was not very good.

Four night stay. Hotel very clean and reasonably priced. All but kitchen staff were very pleasant.
Room A/C was not adjustable. Had to sleep under two blankets in July!
Free breakfast is always a good incentive to stay. Unfortunately, hot breakfast was cold and in short supply. Kitchen/breakfast staff was indifferent and sullen.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel!! I am sorry you had trouble with the AC in the room; sometimes our guests miss the thermostat in the room and try to adjust the temperature from the unit in the window. We currently just added the hot breakfast items to our selection and were most likely still figuring out how to make those items just right, but I apologize for the issue. I hope you will come stay with us again!

We had several bugs we killed in the room as well as some that were dead.
The Bedspreads had stains so we just removed them.
Breakfast could use some more items and the attendant seemed overwhelmed with how busy it was.
Had to ring for desk clerk every time we approached the desk. I have 25 years in hotels and with 20 being in limited service. A lot of things could have been different. Everything else was fine. Had we not used points I would not have paid the rate for this room due to the cleanliness issue and bug issues.

I appreciate that you took the time to review our hotel. First of all, let me apologize for all the shortcomings our hotel had in your eyes. Around this time of year, there is always a huge June bug problem for the hotels in Tyler; we tried our very best to contain the problem but, as you saw, some managed to get through our defenses. I guarantee that our staff was not trying to neglect you at all when you were at the front desk! Our employees have additional responsibilities attached to their job description other than manning the front desk, so we apologize if you felt that you were being ignored. We thank you for your stay and hope that we will see you again to try to impress you further than the first time!
