I was in Tyler for the MAA-TX section meeting at UT-Tyler and used Trip Advisor to find this hotel. I was not disappointed-the rooms were great, good breakfast, and free wifi.

Booking room was easy as well as checking in and out. Entire staff is friendly and does everything they possibly can to make you stay as pleasant as possible and make you feel like a person rather just a visitor. I highly recommend this place to stay and will be staying there every time I go visit my son and grand children. Patrick O'Quinn

Owners on premises most of time, other front desk empl.'s very attentive, housekeeping very unobtrusive & polite. Suite only had 1 tv in front of great bed & linens (but easily viewed from sitting area), no freezer in fridge (but could freeze if turned highest), ice 1st flr only, snacks @ front desk no machine, soda machine each floor, WiFi great (log in info @ ckn), traffic noise n rm 204 (on end @ Franston Hwy & Loop 323), coin washer/dryer wk'd good, breakfast nothing spec.

I highly recommend the Baymont Inn because its rooms are extraordinarily clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and competitively priced. Its friendly and professional staff were especially helpful to me during my stay.

I travel to Tyler on a weekly basis and I am forutunate to have the freedom to stay where I choose. I've stayed at other hotels in the area but for the last several months I've exclusively stayed at the Baymont. What I find attractive is: the the place is new, the rooms are comfy and would pass the mother-in-laws ridicules cleanliness test, and the staff is very friendly. I get a sense of being at home and cared for.

I rely heavily on a decent internet connection for work in the evenings and haven't had any issues with their network. To be honest that's really the reason I ended up here in the first place was inconsistency with others' networks. Fortunately I've learned it offers much more.

The location is a block or two off of 323 which is home to many restaurants so it's not but a minute or two drive to find a good place to eat.

Highly recommend the Baymont!
