This was my 7th stay at this property. I spend a week each November here on business and never disappointed. We had a corner room that offered a little extra space. Being a Gold member has its privileges. The lounge is top notch with a wonderful breakfast and evening snacks.
There is a trolley that will drop you at the Mall or the Marketplace, both great for dinner and a little shopping. The Marriott is a great location for business and shopping

We have stayed in Marriotts all over the United States and I would have to rate this one the best one yet! The rooms are what you expect in a Marriott, comfortable, updated look with a great bed, but the location and services provided in this hotel makes it fantastic! The outdoor seating overlooking The Woodlands famed waterway is a sanctuary with its water fountains lining the path that surrounds the seating area. The spa is fantastic with several treatments rooms, dressing area and sauna in each dressing area. The concierge floor is what is expected serving a great a la carte breakfast in the morning and good h'or deourves in the late afternoon/evening with the added benefit of the view of the waterway from above. We did have room service a few days and although the menu selection is thin, the food was absolutely fantastic! In addition, this is a very walkable location to the nearby shops, restaurants and outdoor concerts! We loved it and will definetly return!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the waterway.

Very close to shopping and restaurants. Stayed for meeting - good meeting facilities, food was excellent. Room OK. Shower curtain with grease stains. Gouge in closet door. Convenient but wouldn't necessarily stay again if it hadn't been where the meeting was held.

My wife and I stayed here to attend a concert due to the proximity to the Woodlands Pavilion. The price is a bit higher than we normally like to pay for a room because, other than sleeping and getting ready, we don't spend a whole lot of time in the room. However, because the Pavilion is a quick, short walk from the hotel, we were willing to pay for this convenience. We've booked hotels about a mile away before, and paying for a taxi and /or walking that distance makes for a less desirable experience. It's basically a trade off and what you're willing to pay for. Convenience has a price.

The room was very, very nice, large and we had a great view of the waterway and could actually see the Pavilion from our room. There were absolutely no complaints on this front.

We also enjoyed the lunch at Acqua Lounge which had a very nice and beautiful outside seating area. The prices are slightly above average, but again, you're paying for convenience. Most on site hotel restaurants have a bit of a markup. We used a Restaurant.com certificate to make the lunch more affordable, so that pretty much made the meal more normal from a price perspective. Again, the outside sitting area is really nice.

When I went walking and exploring, I tried to find / get to the Pavilion via the attached walkway, but I couldn't figure out how to get to the Pavilion. I'm sure it was more of me just not being adventurous, but it was not clear and there was a lack of signage or directions on how to get to the Pavilion. Nonetheless, the proximity was still a plus.

We arrived at at the Woodlands Marriott following a family funeral when it was too late to drive home. The front desk staff went out of their way to accomodate us on the spur of the moment, arriving without a reservation. After we were settled in an incredibly comfortable room overlooking the Woodlands waterway, we enjoyed a cocktail in a lovely outdoor terrace. Next morning we were served an ample breakfast before continuing on our way.

This hotel stands out with its rating, size but also price. Often booked full with convention attenders. Rooms are average, gym is good, breakfast expensive. Needs a competitor in the area as it feels that it fallen a sleep and don't bother to make the little extra that is needed. I prefer other hotels in the area with a star less but more inspired service and lower prices.

What a wonderful way to spend a night away from home. A little dinner (perfectly within walking distance) Christmas lights in place! Marriott smelled divine at all times! When I come to The Woodlands again... This is the only place I'll stay!!!
