“Best Italian in The Woodlands”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2012

White tablecoths, waiters dressed like real waiters, outstanding Italian food - in a strip mall? In Texas? Yes, indeed. My lady's birthday yesterday so the two of us plus our daughter and two dear friends descended on Via Emilia. As usual, outstanding carpaccio, plus bacon-wrapped dates as appetizers. The calamari were not so good - but once we commented, they were comped. Great wine list - my lady saw a wine she liked but told waiter was a little too pricey so we would need to pick something else. Five seconds later he's back with a $10 price reduction - unasked! Main courses good as always, tender duck, outstanding lobster ravioli, wonderful fresh fish, perfect squid ink pasta - not always on the menu but even if it isn't the kitchen will prepare it if you ask. Truly a great, family owned and operated, Italian restaurant. An unexpected find in The Woodlands where mediocre chains are prevalent.

“Very good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2012

I was there for lunch. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was outstanding! Prices were on the higher side but not unreasonable. My only criticism is that the inside was dark even though there are plenty of windows. During lunchtime, I prefer places with lots of light and a brighter ambiance.

“Linen tablecloths, great ambiance, terrific service and wonderful menu!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2012

This restaurant is in a little mall with an Ace Hardware and an urgent care center - don't let that deter you! The food is delicious, the menu is great and the service is superb. We had the Carpaccio of Beef, the Lamb Shank featured dish and Linguine Pesto with Chicken. All of these dishes were delicious. We are eagerly looking forward to going back to try some more dishes from their menu. And we always enjoy going to the local, family-owned establishments over the chain places. They also have live music four days out of the week. What a nice surprise!

“Very Good Italian, Pleasant Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2012

We've been here a few times during the past several months. The food was very good, the atmosphere was very nice and the service was good as well. We've kept this restaurant on our "very good" list and I've recommended it to several of our friends. It's up on the price scale a bit, but it's certainly not out of line for the quality of the restaurant.

“One of our favorites”

Best Italian food in the Woodlands. Menu includes standard Italian fare and unusual entrees for the adventurous (goat, rabbit). Attentive service. Expensive but worth it.
