Had a big pre Christmas lunch here and the dishes we ordered had mixed reviews. The onion rings were great and the seafood PO-boys equally so. The crab in the salad was "too crabby" and the roast beef PO boy was so..so. The crawfish platter was wonderful. The food came quickly and the server and setting both very well. All in all a nice lunch "if" you make the right good choices.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The restaurant was full on a Saturday night, but the service wasn't affected and the timing of our meals was perfect. The noise level was also plenty quiet enough that we could carry on conversations without raising our voices or being forced to listen to other tables.
The menu was just big enough to offer a good variety with a daily specials menu that had an abundance of choices that were outstanding. 3 of us ordered the Grouper, but all prepared differently and none of us had a bite left. We also shared a bread pudding that was one of the best I've had.
Spencer our server was excellent and took care of us in a very polite and timely manner. He was efficient without being intrusive. He also took care of a few additional requests right away. (we asked for a bucket to chill our Pinot Noir a little more)
Party of 4 we had 1 appetizer (gator bites), 2 beers and 1 bottle of Pinot ($41), 3 daily specials and 1 etouffee and 1 dessert. Total was $215 plus gratuity.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. It can be a fine dining experience or just a nice dinner out depending on your choices.

When asked for recommendations for a Cajun restaurant in The Woodlands we had said that Schilleci’s was the one we had heard about but we had not dined there. Last night we got to try it. We were met by the owner who obviously cares deeply about his restaurant and guests. The restaurant is not large, which was great because the ambient noise level was so low that we could easily carry on a conversation with all hearing and no need to shout. The ambiance is very nice and the aromas that greeted us were wonderful.
We ordered deep fried oysters (cooked extra well), shrimp platter and crawfish etouffe. All arrived exactly as requested. In addition to their wine and beer menu, our waiter gave us an “end of the case” special list of wines with discounted prices. After narrowing the list to two wines, the waiter was able to advise between the two and it was an excellent recommendation.
Our only problem was that we did not have room to try their New Orleans Gambino’s bread pudding or beignets.
Definitely a restaurant that we will return to and that we now can recommend with confidence.

My wife and I were out shopping on a drizzly Monday in The Woodlands. We wanted to stop for lunch but many restaurants were closed on Mondays. Schilleci's, where we had eaten before, was open. We started with glasses of Guenoc Sauvignon Blanc. My wife had a bowl of seafood gumbo. I had the 3/4 fried shrimp po’boy with a cup of gumbo. I requested no mayo, but cocktail sauce instead on my po’boy. Greg was prompt and attentive. My po’boy came as ordered and was very good. the gumbo was good, just the right amount of spice - it didn't need any extra hot sauce. We had to request crackers which were not served with the gumbo. Our only complaint was that the shrimp in it were not fresh and had been frozen. Otherwise a very nice meal.
