The market was recently closed, so that the bistro could expand. Very good restaurant, consistent, charming little bar.

It had been a few years since we had visited H&H bistro and the husband and I wanted a quiet, adult only night out. We chose H&H bistro from remembering good service and food, but we weren't really impressed on either this past visit. Arrival and seated in half booth, sat next to others even though at the time of arrival, restaurant had few diners. Waiter was prompt and good about drink suggestions. I have a gluten allergy and asked about an alternate menu as I had heard great things about the new chef, waiter explained most things could be made GF. We decided on an appetizer but were told none of the apps but one could be GF. Ended up getting a side as an app, the Brussels sprouts, they left off the soy sauce, they were good but seemed greasy. In fact if I would say one thing about both my dishes, is that the food seemed heavy on the grease and salt. Ambience was plain and loud as the restaurant filled up, tables were close together and felt we were dining with others. The waiter always had to "check" with someone in the kitchen but no one ever came out to talk with me, usually a chef or someone does to talk about food allergies. I was wanting a dessert, but none (according to waiter) could be made GF. We left and went elsewhere for dessert. All in all the experience wasn't that great, won't be going back. With so many choices in the area, why go to just a mediocre place?

Awesome choice for organic food. Quality of food is really good. Mostly self served. Nice place to hang out. Must try their orange juice, it's like homemade.

The food here is very good and different. We love how they play with flavors and color. We have eaten here on set menu nights as well as off the normal menu. Service is fantastic. For a wonderful dinner this is a must in the woodlands.

We had a reservation through Open Table that was "lost". Hostess was rude and too young for the job. We had been there before and had good, although pricey, food. They're big on truffle oil. Won't return since the last experience was not what one expects from a good restaurant.
