My Teen Angel and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary with a trip to Cheeves. I knew it was going to be expensive but since it was a special occasion I was prepared for that. What I was not prepared for was the experience. The valet greeted us with a warm smile, opened my lady's door and wished us a wonderful evening. It was a great first impression. The hostess greeted us at the door, also with a warm smile and had us seated immediately. Becca, our server, was the ultimate in hospitality and professionalism. She was attentive, friendly, and gave us the best service we have ever experienced anywhere. When our meal was over, she presented the love of my life with a single, long stemmed rose and wished us a happy anniversary (I had only mentioned our anniversary in an email I sent to make the reservation. So it was a nice touch for Becca to call attention to our special occasion.) The service that we received, the incredible ambiance and atmosphere, and let's not forget - the five star cuisine, all added up to one special experience. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? You better believe it! All I can say is pony up and pay the Piper because Cheeves Brothers has them all beat - hands down. Needless to say, we will be back as often as our pocketbook will allow.
