It seems like every time I come here I'm reminded of more reasons that this my #1 favorite bbq spot in tx. And I've been to most of tx monthly top 50, about 75 total.
The Brisket - melts in your mouth. Chewing not necessary. Deep flavors, layers of succulence dripping with fatty smokiness.
The Baby-Backs - fall off the one tender. The meat has a deep sweetness to it you can't find anywhere else. They are the most perfect I've ever had.
The Pork Ribs - seasoned and smoked to a mind altering finish. They are fall off the bone tender, moist, perfectly smoky. The best in the state.
The Beef Ribs - Yep. The Fred Flintstone ribs. Louis muellers makes em so tender you can cut it with a sideways plastic fork. They are "roll your eyes back" good.
The Sausage - amazing flavor. Tastes like butter. Melts in your mouth. (All the phrases I find myself repeatedly using when describing Louis Muellers) I can't believe how, after trying all this other passionately prepared bbq, this sausage is the best I've ever had!!!
If your expecting a thick rich sauce, you won't get one here. The sauce here is made primarily from the meats own drippings. But the sauce is perfect for the mets here. It doesn't intrude on the flavors, rather it gently accents everything you love about the meat.
