Tasty! Best burgers in the area. Must try the beet chips! Service is also top notch! They have a secret kids menu- just ask your server!

Our family went to this place 3 times already and the burgers, salads, crepes, etc... are awesome. As one of the reviewer before me said, it's an affordable burger joint for Sugar Land! Service is excellent.

The place is small so if you plan to dine-in, be aware of the waiting but so much worth it.

The crepes are not good. I asked for a side of nutella to make my crepe edible and was told the kitchen was closed. Since when do you have to cook nutella??? I'll never go again!

You should understand the territory first. Just outside the City of Houston is the town of Sugar Land, Texas. It derives the name from the long ago sugar mill for Imperial Pure Cane Sugar around which the town was built more than 100 years ago. Sugar Land is a small city in Ft. Bend County, Texas. Ft. Bend County is one of the most fastest growing, prosperous areas of Texas. Booming in fact. A new tenant in the newish Town Square/ City Hall area [ as of the summer of 2012] is a recent and unique casual restaurant,GURU burger and crepes. An unusual combination for a restaurant but unusually good. Hamburgers of ample size and a variety of meats that include Texas Grass Fed Akaushi beef [ no McDonalds or Wendy's here] or lamb, or buffalo, or salmon, or turkey, mushroom, or salmon. More of a variety difficult to match for any hamburger place that's not a chain or otherwise. There are 3 portion sizes, sliders [3 oz.] regular [6 oz.] double [12oz] and three different bread options: twist roll, whole wheat, and bunless. Dozens of beers, a large choice of wine by the glass, both domestic and foreign, a wide variety of salads, and potatoes. The hamburgers are cooked to order and served with care. And from the number of patrons, all delicious. 12 varieties of crepes they characterize as savory and there's probably really no
doubt about those. Sugar Land is not a vacation destination but it is becoming a Silicon Valley-type area of businesses and with a large and growing affluent Asian and Indian population. If you find yourself looking for new employment or relocating to this upscale area of Texas there's at least one great hamburger not-a-joint restaurant you won't waste money trying out.
