“Finally good Italian”
Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I ran into this joint one afternoon while searching for good Italian food in our new area, Sugarland.

We have found decent food in the area with very poor service. After having lived in Houston where you could find great service at most places this has been a shock to us.

The food and service were both very good at this place. My wife had the oso Buco and I had fettuccine Alfredo. Both were very good. The wine prices were outrageous however. We paid $52 for a $9 bottle of wine.

Overall though it was the best Italian we have found in the area.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

We wondered into Antonia's after a movie because it was just so close and convenient. My expectations were pretty low because I'd never heard of this place. I'm so glad we gave it a try. Everything was incredible. The food, the service, the atmosphere - everything! We'll definitely be going back.

“Antonia's Cucina Italiana - Sugar Land”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Sort of hidden away in a strip center anchored by Kroger and Walgreens, this place is very much a neighborhood Italian bistro. The food is very good to excellent, wait staff is well-trained and knowledgeable and does not “hover.” Prices are reasonable and the specials are always worth consideration. Compares favorably with similar venues in the US and Europe.

“One of the best”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

We just moved here from LA and are on the hunt for good places to eat. Luckily, just down the street for us is Antonia's which reminds us of great Italian places we've been to in LA. They have a patio area for warm nights and a surprisingly large number of two person tables that are separated from the main dining room by a privacy wall. This makes it great for date night. We've been back twice in the past couple of weeks and the service both times was excellent and attentive (not to excess). Home made breads and desserts compliment excellent entrees, and the minestrone soup was perfect. You can't go wrong here.
