Went here for lunch today and ordered the Quabili Pallow. It was delicious - the basmati rice was very flavorful with carrots and raisins. The lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and serving was quite generous. My co-worker ordered the Lamb Curry - another excellent dish tho very, very, very spicy! You'll need a lot of water with this one. We also got naan - A MUST!

Service was quick and friendly. We definitely will be back!

The food is flavorful. Pick any dish on their menu http://houstonafghancuisine.com/. We took a "to-go" order. The restaurant ambiance is very nice with afghan carpets on the stage and on the back drop of the stage.

We tried the Borani Badenjans which is eggplant in tomato sauce topped with yogurt sauce and spices. The quantity was very little for ~$5 but it tastes delicious with their huge nana ($1 each).

For the main course we ordered Chicken Curry ($9.99) and Chicken Kabob ($9.99). The spicy yogurt curry comes with plain white rice. The chicken kebab comes with very spicy sauce and flavorful yellow Basmathi rice. These three dieshes cost $30 and just about feeds 2 people with small appetites. Will definitely go back again.

We love this place. The food is really tasteful and fresh. The restaurant is large and open so you do not fell crowded like some of the other strip center food locations. The quabili pallow is my favorite with a side of naan.

Service is hit or miss. Most of the wait staff are young teenagers that seem to be part of the family.

This place is a little to far to where i live but it was all worth it a drive.

The naan tasted so good and so is their version of calzone (think its called bolani). The rice dish with lamb (somewhat like biryani) was really tasty! But my most favorites are the green sauce and the mantoo (dumplings with meat and split peas). Great service and the place is interestingly nice. It was not too busy on friday night. Its probably because of the location. But i highly recommend this place and would be lOoking forward to my next visit.
