Ok, it IS clean and the parking is free, I liked the location, set off it in its own little area next door to a HEB. That's the good news. But it's noisy, badly staffed and the service was awful. The first day the Chef at breakfast threw a fit in full view of the customers ordering eggs and pancakes. He was not seen again so I'm assuming he quit or was fired. The hotel was totally full and as a business traveler i didn't enjoy the screaming running children in the halls and the lobby and the restaurant. Front desk staff was harried and untrained, when i arrived at 5pm i was told my room "wasn't ready" and they explained why in great detail. I didn't really care why i just wanted a room and was tired from a long day of traveling. A manager came and fixed this problem but the desk clerk was nasty from that day on. A request via phone for extra pillows and towels was ignored twice, the third time (6 hours later) the pillows arrived. this is NOT a hotel for a business traveler, the business center doesn't have working anything and the staff admits they are unable to use the programs installed on the computers. While i travel with a lap top, i was unable to print anything there with my computer or with theirs. Frustrating. The noise factor was beyond belief. Kids running screaming at all hours of the day and in the early morning it was particularly bad. I don't need to be woken up at 5:45 by a crying baby. At night the "partiers" roamed halls and well after 1am doors were slamming and voices were raised. We asked the desk clerk for a "nice restaurant" near by and were directed to a self service cafeteria in front of hte hotel. When i mentioned to the clerk that she may want to reconsider her recommendation, she snapped at me that "Well i've never eaten there, we just have food sent in". So yeah, that's the level of service and friendliness. one of the worst hilton experiences ever, and that includes some dumpty Hampton Inns in towns that had no options. Thankfully, Sugarland does have options and I will choose better next time.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else. If you MUST stay here, get a room on a top floor, the hotel is so badly built that you can hear EVERYONE above you and outside your door.

Overall the experience was good. The overall view was scenic. Service was good. The Indian staff at the front desk were exceptional & prompt. Its a very good business hotel and families on vacations may not like this as there arent many shopping or sightseeing attraction nearby. Except for a Walmart & Sam's Club that is across the road. Internet & Business Center facilites here are complimentary and effective. Gym and Pool facilities are not that good. Breakfast in the restaurant has limited variety. Its a quite place at night and overall a decent crowd is around which makes your stay pleasant.

For Muslims Halal food is not very easy to find here unless you drive few miles to close by Asian / Middle Eastern / Persian restaurants. And the closest Mosque to Hilton Garden Inn is the Maryam Mosque or Maryam Islamic Center which is some 3-4 miles away. Google maps can help you track that.

Room Tip: Always carry a small water bottle or wet tissues with you when going to toilets especially at Airports, Gas Stations, Malls and Hotels. Because you may not find water for cleansing the impurities....

We had our daughter's wedding reception at this hotel. It was wonderful. The majority of the out of town guest stay here too. Lots of sitting areas to visit, fireplaces in the lobby, bar, and restuarant. The reception food was delicious. We served a 5 course meal and had plenty of options to choose from.

Very thankful for Kavetha and the staff. Answered every question and took care of every request immediately. Thanks!

Was visiting a friend who booked me at the Hilton Garden Inn close to his house. Barely spent time at the hotel except for sleeping in the night but the hotel is huge with a great lobby and restaurant. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable.
