We liked this winery because you get to taste all of their wines. The woman guiding us through our tasting was also helping another small group. I probably would have preferred to have one person helping just us as there were enough people working, but it was fine this way. You get a souvenir glass to take home. The grounds are very nice, and there is a beautiful view from the front porch. If it hadn't been raining, we would have loved to stay and enjoy a glass of wine out there.

We had a very nice hour or so visiting this winery. They had a wonderful barbeque vendor on site and we had a delicious barbeque sandwich to go with a wonderful dry rose we purchased. There was live music and a kite festival happening also to enjoy on their spacious, shady deck. We'll be back!

Very small staff for many folks tasting wine which one blonde woman was very snippity to customers. We had a different lady who was very good, knew her wines and helped us a lot even though she was working with 7 different couples at the same time. We were directly across from the blonde and couldn't believe how rude and curt she was with a couple that looked to be serious wine drinkers. Glad I don't own the place as she would have been fired on the spot. But the wine itself is very good and we did buy a couple bottles. Nice variety too. Just bewarenofmthe blonde server

Hello,
I am very happy to hear that you found your visit to Pedernales Cellars pleasant, and the person who served you helpful. I am very sorry, though, to hear that you felt that another one of our servers was not up to standard. We always strive to make people who visit the tasting room feel welcome, and we take such concerns very seriously. We have recently expanded the tasting room in order to make the visit more pleasant for those who are there are crowded days, and strive to contnue to improve visitors' experience.
Thanks,
Julie

Always stop by when we can. This is one our favorite wineries to visit. The people are friendly and they can have a heavy hand in pouring if they think you might actually buy. Love the glass you get for tasting.

Small, friendly, winery with good reds and whites and a free celler tour. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but my wife and son very much liked them here. We went on a Sunday, and they had a good blues trio playing live music on their patio and a vendor had set up a trailor selling good BBQ food and soft drinks. The patio was shaded with modern, comfortable furniture and a great view of the surrounding countryside.
