My husband drives past this restaurant on his way home every day and has been wanting to try it. We went yesterday and were not disappointed! It's a tiny place, with maybe 6 tables. There was one guy working who handled the register and cooked. He was very friendly. Not having eaten true African food before, we weren't sure what to get, so we decided to get all four of the skewers they have on their appetizer list. Shrimp, chicken, beef and yes, gizzards! I'm not a big gizzard girl but my husband loved them! The shrimp was good, the chicken was so moist it melted in your mouth, and the beef was out of this world (or at least, the continent!!). It was served with diced tomato and onion, and we were told the onion would 'cut the spiciness'. It was SPICY!! We like spicy so we LOVED it!! We actually gof full sharing the skewers, which were $1.99 each!! We will go back to try their more authentic food, things we have never heard of (which is probably why we went the 'safe' route with skewers!?!). Don't let the tiny space fool you, there's some good cookin going on in there!!!
