My mother (who is from Alabama) looked this up on the internet and just had to go. I took her down there and I was totally surprised! They had everything in the little shops all down the streets. My mother had a blast and I must say I had a lot of fun too. Lunch was awesome at Ellen's Cafe! Do not leave this place without trying the fudge! OMG! Yummy! Mom said she will be back again in 6 months so I know where we will visit again. :-)

Especially around the holidays. It's beautiful and f
Festive. Chorale groups, local schools, entertainers, every food there is and so much more!

Over rated. Stores are expensive boutiques. Stores that do sale resale items are expensive. Will not be paying flea market prices. Recommend eating at Wunsche Bros, Cafe. Also Puffbelly's is a nice place. It is an old train depot.

Several unique shops and a couple wineries make this a nice visit with a group of fellow shoppers. I don't recommend it for strollers as the sidewalks are old, uneven, and narrow. The holiday decorations add to the festivity!

Old Town Spring has been a destination for decades. There is the bank that Bonnie and Clyde held up, complete with bullet holes in the outer wall and a wonderful old cafe by the railroad tracks. All of the buildings are now shops of various sorts - gifts, wine, art, food - anything you might want but don't necessarily need. It makes for a fun outing for family and friends.
