We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Copeland's. Staff was friendly, especially Trevor who gave us a brief history of the Copeland's chain. Our food was delicious and well presented. Atmosphere was appealing until a crying baby joined the crowd!!! We also ate breakfast twice at Copeland's and even though the food was tasty, staff during that time was inexperienced and made the morning meal less enjoyable. Next time I would utilize the hotel lobby coffee shop for breakfast rather than be annoyed by mix ups and lack of service.

When my mom and sis come to town I always wind up taking them to Copeland's at least once, since they love New Orleans food. It's always a weekend when we show up, and we never have a problem getting in, there is always space. There is also always a "brunch" going on, and herein lies the key to enjoying your Copeland's experience.

DO NOT HAVE THE BUFFET BRUNCH. If you are a real fan of serve-yourself goopy food then go for it, but if you want actual freshly prepared deliciousness then get a menu and treat this like a normal restaurant, not a brunch place. We have been consistently happy with the stuff we order off the menu, and watch as tables full of grumpy families get up and down constantly go get more grits or overcooked scrambled eggs. Your server will also love you and treat you well since they won't spend the whole time taking your dirty plates away for a minimal tip.

Recommended IF you order off the menu

Outside dining was nice. The food itself was just ok. The drinks were good. Service was not very attentive.

We went to Copeland's for a bridal luncheon. The service was great and the good was even better. I would compare it to being a little nicer than Olive Garden as far as the atmosphere. I ordered a Creole chicken dinner over rice. It was delicious. The drinks were also great! We always had full drinks and everything we needed. We were there for a few hours and never felt rushed. They have an amazing bar as well. The bar has a Mardi gras theme.
