This complex looks very nice and upscale on the outside but upon entering you see that the hall carpet were old. Entering our room thought is was very nice and spacious. As we looked close our big patio windows were missing blinds which did not allow us blockage from the light in needbe. The area rug was dirty, there were broken floor tiles that were not thrown away in plain sight on our patio and one eye on the electric stove was not working. (This was the down stairs area).
Upstairs was decent (still not worth what I paid). The dresser was falling apart and there was loud noise when the A/C were on. The shower head seemed to be old or not working properly. There were not enough towels to accomodate us 5 (when the max. is 6) and house keeping trades clean towels for dirty ones. NO-WIFI the condo is hard wired for internet and it is next to the 40+ inch TV.
There was a little hike to the beach (bring a rolling cooler if you are going).
This will be a last resort in the future!

I do not know why this hotel was given a 3 star rating from US standard because this hotel is no match to Marriott. We arrived to the hotel past midnight after long hours driving and tired. When we got to the hotel, the room was smelly and the rest room was dirty with used wash cloth on the floor. We had to clean the rest room because we were so tired to change the room or wait for the housekeeping. The hallway was like a sauna. The next day nobody came or offer to clean the room or bring us towels and soap. The second day, we called the front desk for soap and towels and waited and waited but nobody came. We used the old towels and left the room. After we came back 5 hrs later the room was dirty and still no towels or soap. The shower is terrible. The hot water comes after 5 or 10 min on the 4th floor and very very weak......For the money we paid, we felt we got robbed. I will not recommend this place unless u want to pay $40 or less for night. We paid $110 per night for early weekdays not even a weekend. The people are nice but the service is terrible. Check out the nearby hotels for a better deal. For the same price we paid, there are so many nice hotels around.

Condo was very clean and kitchen had everything needed and more. Two bedrooms and kitchen furnished very well. View was beautiful. Short walk to beach. Plenty to do for kids with 2 pools, racquetball courts, tennis courts. Staff friendly. Location was right on the main street. Great restaurants nearby.

my husband & myself took our 2 grown daughters on this 7 day beach vacation off peak (sept.)
7th floor 2/2 condo (721) the condo was huge, the balcony was huge.
we were not able to get wifi for a few days, we spent most the vacation woke up early with painters & construction outside on our private patio. not much anyone can do about that but would have liked to be offered a discount on what we paid.
the walk to the beach is pretty far especially carrying things back & forth.
there was 24 hr security, we liked the pool & hot tub but late at night it can get loud.
the kitchen was supplied with just about everything you need to cook.
the furniture is very out dated with what looks like 80's wicker.
staff was pleasant but if there is a problem they seem to blame the owner of the condo & that their hands were tied.
we are gong back to SPI this sept again but I booked our family at another condo on the beach with a closer walk.

My family and I and our two exchange students from Italy and Slovakia visited on March 28 - March 31st, 2013, on arrival the front desk clerk was rude. The condo we got had a terrible stench of sewer gas which got us sick. We advise front desk and nothing was done. My son called several times and still nothing was done. They were also constructing while we were there and all the dust was flying all over the place we couldn't even sit outside because all the dust got on us. We opened the sliding door and the dust was all inside. On the balcony tiles were missing and just placed on the side of the window. It was a little dangerous because someone could trip with the missing tiles. We complained about the dust and they send someone to clean the balcony, but I would think they would offer another condo with everything that was going on. When I called because we left before time to see what the status was because you leave a deposit and they have to send someone to inspect the place before they can return your deposit I was told they hadn't returned my call because the sofa and two cushions and had a red spot on them and that they had to call a contract company to see if they could take the spots off and see how much they were going to charge. The total charge supposedly was $ 92.00, if I would have seen the spots I would have cleaned them myself. Very disappointed. We would always stay there when we visited SPI and we always recommended them to our friends and family, but not after this experience. I hope no one else experiences the horrible sewer gas stench. Even the exchange students asked what that horrible smell was.

Room Tip: Check the room for odors and if there is no construction going on. Make sure they pay attention to...

I stayed here last weekend with my wife, and we had a greta time in unit 208. The owners wer on VRBO and were very responsive and pleasanat to our rquests. The resort itself may be a little confusing at first with the different towers and the beach condos, each with their own lobby but it was nice once we were acclimated. We really enjoyed the personal touches on the studio unit, which was well apointed for 1 or 2 couples, but one bathroom would be tough on any more than that. The Suncahase is in a a great location, within walking distance of most of the islands attractions. McDonalds is right next door for a morning coffee is you don't feel like making any. The beach was a little of a walk, but a little walking never killed anyone. The complex is vry secure with card access on all the gates and the elevator has a key code so we never felt insecure. Great value with a variety of units for rent, and well appointed right in the midlle of the island.

Room Tip: Look on different sites to find all the units available. I would recommend VRBO to start.

We were here for a week and didn't want to leave. We had a fantastic view of the sunrise and the gulf from our downstairs balcony and a beautiful view of the sunset and bay from our upstairs balcony. We had a very large private sundeck just like the one in the picture and really enjoyed our entire experience
