Clayton's is right beside the La Quinta and the Hilton Garden Inn. In fact, you never even have to leave the wooden decking and get into the sand to get there.
We ordered nachos and drinks at the bar, then sat watching the beach go by.
What a great place to wind down!

So my friend just texted me, his name was Carlton Zeus from Brownsville or San Antonio. It was so much fun!! We drove out to go see Mario Lopez at this other hotel but he was a no show, so we decided to stop by Clayton's to see what all my friends on fb were talking about. OMG what a blast! First hip hop show we've ever been to that was not ghetto AND the music was absolutely amazing! Thank you Claytons!

Great location, kids can play volleyball or tetherball whilst you watch over them with a cold one. Food average.

Food is expensive and mediocre at best. Fun to sit and watch the bikinis says my husband. It is on the beach that is about the best I can say.

You might think that the food would be fresh since it's located at South Padre, but it's the typical Sysco Frozen Shrimp that you might get in Kansas City at a restaurant or buy a box at Sam's Club Warehouse. The drinks are terrible and expensive. The management is a young Hispanic female that is very impressed with her position, however, she doesn't have what it takes in brains or public relation skills.
