Fairly new hotel with great amenities. rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool is large and clean with a nice deck & gazebos. Enjoyed breakfast and one dinner in the dining room. Enjoyed lunch and cocktails on a couple of occasions by the pool. Beach access is convenient and the beach is very clean. Overall a very nice stay at this hotel.

The room was nice and mostly clean, there were spots of blood or something on the sheets. Bed was hard even tho they claimed it was an adjustable bed. The walls are like paper and you hear everything your neighbors are saying even as you walk thru the halls. Friendliness upon check in was very pleasant. Throughout the stay staff was very disconcerned about any questions we asked. You are not allowed to take your own food or beverages to the poolside, everything had to be purchased thru the hotels "grill". There is no continental breakfast or complimenary coffee. They do make sure to keep out the rift raft...guests had to wear a wrist band to get thru pool area and a parking guard is at entrance and only lets guests park in the lot. Close to beach with a private boardwalk to the beach. For the price we paid per night, definately expected more

Also, we do have an expensive buffet breakfast with omelet bar for $9.95 and we do offer complimentary coffee on us. We booked three rooms one of which was a handicapped room. Service was excellent, rooms were really spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable. My mother is wheelchair bound and her shower was not they had a tub my father helped her bathe but the whole time she did not feel safe because the hand rails were not in the right position it was right behind her head. Roll in showers are suggested, because not all handicap people have the same balance, needs or help available when they travel. Loved the fact that the pool had remote control lifts for handicap people. We go to SPI once a year with family and have stayed in other resorts but so far Hilton Garden has been the best. Another suggestion is sand mats for beach access between the end of the deck and the actual beach, its too long a stretch for a wheelchair. Next time we visit we shall stay with you again, got excellent rates on our mobile. Thanks

We had a family reunion and had a birthday party in the restaurant of the hotel. It was really great! They accomodated our party of 40 and gave us an exclusive area. There was also a band and the lead singer came to acknowledge my brother for his birthday.

Apparently, Hilton Garden prides itself on the adjustable comfort beds. Let me tell you, there is only one setting - hard as a rock. Feels like I am sleeping on my dining room table. I complained but they said no switches because they were booked. I've asked for extra blankets to try and make this boulder more comfortable but that didn't happen either. Rooms, pool and grounds are nice and clean but if you can't sleep because your bed is harder than the floor, nothing else matters.

I gave this hotel an average rating, even though I did enjoy the location and the ameneties. The staff was very courteous, especially the evening bartender. The room we had was a handicap accessible one, even though I didn't request it, and it was very spacious. The main reason for the average rating was, we had no housekeeping service the entire time we stayed there. My friend and I would go out to the beach at 10am and come back to our room at 6pm and our room was never cleaned when we got back, even though the entire hallway had at least 3-4 cleaning carts in it. Eight hours is enough time to get to a room and clean it, in my opinion. Instead, we just kept asking for more towels and toilet paper. No use coming in to clean when we're showering. Also, on the second day, the smell on the third floor hallway was so horrid, we gagged walking to and from the elevator. I'm not sure what happened up there, but it smelled like bait shrimp had been left in the hallway to spoil and it stuck around for a whole day.

Another reason for the average rating was the check-in process. I showed up 30 minutes before check-in time and was told the room wasn't ready. I had expected such and took the wrist bands they offered and the parking pass and my friend and I drove around the island for a bit. Came back after 3pm, and the room still was not ready. So my friend and I grabbed a luggage cart, of which there were two available, and sat in the lobby. Thirty minutes later, they finally gave me a room, but seemed annoyed to deal with me again. Looking back, I'm sure the delay was in the housekeeping not having the room ready.

The beds in our room were like sleeping on rocks, even with the dial on the side adjusted to the softest setting. The refigerator shook and made noise all night long until we wedged a towel in next to it. The Television was broken and we had to have facilities come up to replace it. We could hear kids running up and down the halls above us at all hours of the day and night. There is little to no sound-proofing in the walls. Our balcony was nice, but it looked out onto another wall and a roof, which is not exaclty soothing but serviceable.

The positives are that the grill had the best food on the island. The cheeseburger was especially great. The Key Lime Coladas at the bar are exceptional and the evening entertainment was ok. Breakfast was good every morning and we loved the omellette bar. Friday and Saturday there are fireworks shows on the beach and that was a nice surprise. The location of the resort is great, but I would advise you to get out to the beach early to get a prime spot. You can rent two chairs and an umbrella from a company there for $25 a day, which we did every day. Just know that the public will bring their own seats and umbrellas and set up all around you. It gets super crowded on the beach during the weekends, especially so near Clayton's beach bar down the way. The beach was very clean and we spent a majority of time there.

I might stay here again, but would probably try out the La Quinta next door, just for comparison.

Everything was just as expected and then some. Charges were exactly as quoted. When we arrived the operations manager, Felipe and Angelica made us feel welcome and at home. They even offered us a double bed suite with the ocean front balcony, which we didn't expect but we took it happily and it was amazing!!! I would absolutely stay at this hotel if we ever return and I would HIGHLY recommend it if you are looking for somewhere affordable, clean, and close to the ocean. It was just a few minutes walk which was perfect my husband and I's midnight walks along the beach. So romantic. I absolutely loved everything about this hotel!

Room Tip: Ocean front suites are worth the few extra $. You will be disappointed if you don't!!
