haven't had lunch or diner, but breakfast was great. Biscuits and gravy...omg were so good.
love sitting over the water, service is slow, but they make up for it by being very friendly.

We had fish tacos here. Yum. Our server was very sweet. We sat on the inside of the pier overlooking the water, watching the different boats come and go. The Pirate Ship came by and fired the cannon-that was fun. Loud and gregarious, friendly atmosphere.
Definitely would eat here again.

We come to South Padre Island every year and spend a month at the KOA. We really liked Pier 19 as it was located just next to the KOA. We've recommended this place before and we still like it, but something has changed. They dropped some of their lunch special pricing and offer one special per day. The food changed a bit too. The fried shrimp didn't taste as good as before and they changed their fries (use to have waffle fries). The portions are also a bit smaller unless you order the "large" order. So you pay more and get less. Because of this, we decided to try Dirty Al's and they were better. Prices were similar, but you got more food and the shrimp taste wonderful. We may stick with Dirty Al's now.

Awesome view. Food is nothing special. Forgot my daughters fruit and husbands coleslaw that's frustrating

We stayed at the KOA Campground which was an easy walk back and forth. The view is fantastic. Sunset unbelievable! The food was decent. However the service left a lot to be desired. Our first dinner visit it took 15 minutes for our server to come and get our drink orders and another 10 minutes to bring them. Not talking mixed drinks. I'm talking two(bottled) beers, two sodas and two glasses of milk. One bottle was still warm like he pulled it off the shelf. Took too long to receive food once waiter finally took order. Second visit: We were scheduled for the 1400 Sea Life Safari Cruise. Sat down at our table at 1250. Someone finally took our drink order at 1310. Informed her we were in a rush because of cruise. Got drinks at 1320. Again reiterated timeline in effect. Placed food order at this time. Received food at 1345. The restaurant was not busy at either of these times, which I would have taken into consideration. It was just poor service. Food was decent, but did not live up to the hype of brochures or website. We made the cruise which was fantastic! For the view and setting thumbs up! For service, thumbs way way down!! Do not go if you do not have time to spare.
