Palm St Pier is a small laguna-side restaurant with tables right on the water or inside. Some winter Texans recommended it to us for lunch. The Wednesday lunch special is coconut shrimp so we went just for that and it did not disappoint. I had had it elsewhere on the island but it did not compare to the way Palm St Pier prepared it...strongly coconut flavor, bits of coconut in the light batter and 7-8 good sized shrimp done just right. As we were preparing to order, a lady behind me spoke up to say she was eating that and came there on Wednesdays just for that. I hope they offer it on the dinner menu, but until then we will plan on Wednesday lunch at Palm St Pier.

By wife and I went there for late lunch, at about 3pm. Only one other couple there, so service was very fast. Lots of choices of seafood, Mexican and American food. I had shrimp & fish combo and my wife had 1/4 burger with cheese, both meals under $10. Mine was very good and the shrimp was a decent size. They even threw in an extra fish too!. My wife said her burger was great and she got all the clasic toppings; pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Plus it's right next to the water so the view was pleasant too. Enjoy!!

This restaurant is under new management and waiting for their liquor license. When they get their license, this is a nice place to sit outside in the sun and look at the bay side of the island. Bar food is good such as nachos or shrimp cocktail, etc. but their main courses are mediocre.

Good place off main street with awesome view of the bay. Good variety of fish on the menu, priced right. Don't feed the seagulls or they will practically attack you. Great open air restaurant.

I have been there a couple of times. The first 3 visits every thing was just ok. But the last visit, the service was horrible. The only thing to remember was the view from the pier.
