We stayed at Land Fall Tower for 1 week in Feb. The location is a bit away from things which was alright with us. The view from the balcony of the canal was very nice We enjoyed watching boats coming and going and people fishing below us. The lobby area was very clean and inviting.
When we entered our unit we did not see a bed and realized it was folded up into the TV stand. Once we had it open and tried it out it was a very comfortable mattress but very low to the ground, about 12 inches high at the most.Looking back on the pictures it is a bit deceiving. I would not recommend this unit if you have trouble getting up from a chair. The bed was not made so we had to do that. There was dried blood on one of the pillows and a pillow case. We went out and bought our own pillows and pillow cases after seeing that. This unit is listed as a one bedroom but is actually an efficiency.
The bathroom was very nicely updated with a great shower. Plenty of bath towels but only 2 washcloths. The floor behind the toilet and under the vanity was very dirty.
The kitchen was also nicely updated. We cooked breakfast there each morning . I would suggest adding forks (there were only 4) glasses (there were only 2) and some dish towels (there were none). And there was a component inside of the microwave that was hanging loose and probably needs to be repaired.
The patio door had verticle blinds of which 2 slats were missing. The balcony was large and had comfortable furniture.
We were told by the manager when we were sitting at the pool that we needed to wear wristbands. After checking the unit we found them in the dresser drawer. Also there was not a parking pass in the unit so had to get that from the manager. A booklet or notice of some of these things might have been helpful. There was not a check out policy listed anywhere either.
This unit is listed as handicap accessible. There are grab bars in the shower, but there is a threshold of 4-5 inches that has to be stepped over to enter.
This unit would be fine for spring breakers or a young couple, but I would not recommend it for anyone older and not for an extended amount of time due to the lack of an actual bed.
