We should have known we were in trouble when we walked in on a Friday night and we were the only ones in the restaurant while the other local restaurants were crowded. But despite the smell of the building itself we decided to try it anyway. Sometimes you get lucky and the place will be a dump but the food will be good. We were wrong. We all ordered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. A few minutes after placing the order the waitress came back to tell us they were out of green beans but had broccoli so we agreed to the broccoli. The chicken fried steaks were very thin and very very crunchy and dry. The meat was so dry and so thin that it was hard to get an actual taste of it. The broccoli was mostly stems - like when you buy the cheap bags of frozen stuff and get a few pieces of broccoli and a bunch of stems. We will not be returning.
