This is the second time we have gone to the Pumpkin Patch at Blessington Farms. It is a long ways out if you don't live in the Brookshire-Wallis area, but it is a fun place for young children.

They have one price for all ages except 18 month & under are free. You can pack a picnic lunch. There are a lot of picnic tables. Lots of trees for shade. Lots of fun things for kids. My grandson is 10. He liked the barrel rolls. The various types of bikes you can ride in the bike arena. They have a maze, 2 large slides, a dirt mound, & an area where children can pet various animals. They have a huge bouncing area & zip lines. Not much in the way of food vendors, but as i indicated you can bring in your own food & drink. This will probably be the last year for my grandson. He had a good time, but I think next year, we will have to find a place that has more activities for tweens.

I recommend this place if you have children 3-10. They have pumpkins for sell, of course. Also several areas for photo shoot opportunities with pumpkins. You can buy tickets online, but they aren't any cheaper & they are only good for the day on the tickets so if you aren't sure what day you will be going, it is better to just pay when you get out there. I think they will
be open thru the last week-end in October, but you can check their website for all the details.

This place was beyond awesome! For all ages and so, so, so much to do... Photo's props everywhere. So many hands on activities, we took a picnic lunch has tons of picnic tables, has a general store, funnel cakes, and restaurant/wagon to order food and drinks. You bring in your coolers, they have limited supply of wagons. A terrific place for the family and grandparents

We took our two kids, 3 & 1, to Blessington Farms on 9/30/17. The place is clean with nice portable upgraded restrooms. They offer affordable snacks and drinks. You can also bring your own food and drinks and they have picnic tables available. Free parking. They have zipline that my 3yr old daughter loved and rode 20+ times. They have slides, jump platform, hay ride, and barrel train rid. They also have animal feeding that costs extra or you can fish the lake as well for extra cost. We were there for fall so they have pumpkins available for sale. Bring your camera because there are some excellent pumpkin photo spots available with the kids. We were there about 4 hours and had a great time.

Parents and Grandparents, bring the kids and let them experience some great fun. Slide down the side of a hill, jump in some hay, cruse in a barrel train or good old hay ride. The barn yard animals will be waiting along with some snakes, lizard and tortoises. Race special tricycles around a dirt track, pick berries in season and come back in fall for pumpkins.
We usually spend 3-4 hours with our grandchildren each time we have come. You can buy your lunch or snacks or bring a picnic basket.

The main reason we wanted to go was to pick strawberries during spring break but they were all picked out. We decided to take the kids anyway and they had so much fun! Their favorites-big slides, riding bikes, and the trolley swing.
