Visiting this establishment was one of the worst experiences I have in a while.
The staff were unprofessional and almost rude. There was someone there, a beady eyed fellow with gray mustaches, who seemed to go out of his way to stalk the minority guests.
The rides in the children's area looked old an dirty so we didn't even try them. They also charged a lot for strawberries which don't even taste good.

Unless you live in the area I would not suggest this place to anyone, given other superior options available in the Houston area.

We have been to Blessington Farms twice. It's about 30 minutes outside of Katy.

The park has a lot of fun children's activities. Our son loves the hill with the slides. It's a good workout for the kids climbing up the hill.

They have a petting zoo with lots of animals - chickens, goats, dogs, etc... it is a neat experience for the kids to hold the chickens. Our son's friend didn't want to give the chicken up.

We enjoyed their hay ride.

The food is reasonably priced. Hot dogs were $2.50. ice cream was $1.50. chips were $1.

This time we went it was $15 for adults and children. I thought that was a little pricey as the adult pay to supervise their children at the park.

Blessington Farms is always improving their facility.

It's a neat place to take your kids

Blessington Farms is a great place for a fall play day. Much more than just a place to pick out pumpkins. We took our entire family including our 4 grandchildren. All had a wonderful, fun-filled day. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is so much for the children to do. Also, a great place to take a picnic lunch and just let the kids enjoy. Lots of picnic tables.

I have been taking my grandsons to this place for over a year and we all love it. There is so much to see and do and the kiddos are allowed to run and enjoy good ol country fun. Take a picnic lunch and stay the day.

We drove out to Simonton for the sole purpose of having our kids learn about farming and picking strawberries. Being city kids they don't get much of a chance to garden like we did as children. Our daughters had a great time cutting the ripe strawberries off the planters and putting into the $1.50 basket the farm gives you. Be warned if the basket is full it will be $20 to 25 as they charge $5 a pound. Pretty pricey but we were paying for the experience and they were delicious after we washed them at home and made a pie later that afternoon. There isn't a fee to pick strawberries or the other berries they have growing throughout the year but you do pay for the bucket and what you pick. We brought a nice lunch and enjoyed eating at one of the tables. The only drawback of this whole place is the cost of the activities. We were fine to pay for our daughters to go enjoy theirselves with the jumping pad, barrel train, pedal cars and slides at $10 per child What we didn't agree with was having to pay $10 per adult just to be in the same area to supervise our children when they are 13 and 10 years old. We had no desire to ride a pedal car or slide down the hill or even jump on the jumping pad. We were happy to sit on a bench or walk around watching them have fun. We ended up paying over $50 for a couple of hours.
