Yes, Houston has some of the best Mexican food restaurants anywhere. However, today you might just be in “small-town” Sealy, so Cazadores should be your first and ONLY stop for good Mexican food in this sleepy little town. The Sealy location is #3 of a chain of 4 in the West Houston, Katy area, but don’t let that scare you off, as the food and service are quite good. Prices range from $9 - $15 for most meals, all of which are accompanied by chips and 3 terrific flavored salsas (perhaps the best reason to stop in… seriously!). Also, the tortillas are made in house, right by the front door by a “grumpy little grandma”… and they are delicious. My favorite meal is the “Stuffed Avocado”. My wife likes the “Shrimp a la Plancha” (grilled shrimp). Most of the seafood plates are very nice, but pass on the “Shrimp Tacos”, as the cooks still haven’t figured this one out, hahaha. Anyway, Sealy is a small town with plenty of places to eat, but only two are good... and Cazadores happens to be one of them. Enjoy!
