Staff at hotel told us to go there for a great meal, We went twice. Valdos staff remembered us from the nite before. Very good food and prices. The staff did a great job and were very good in the food service. We would go back again.

The most important thing for anyone first visiting, (like us), is to NOT enter through the door off NASA Parkway. Two other couples did so that night too and you will be looked on upon like a deer in the headlights if you walk through that door. Once you enter through the door off the patio, you will be right in front of the podium and seated by someone. Both my stuffed snapper and my husband's chicken had a lot of flavor and the proportions are beyond what either of us can eat., so I feel both the quality and the size are satisfying. I think it's kind of dumb that Valdo's advertises on the building seafood on one side, and mexican food on the other, but when you view the menu they have a lot of variety that would probably best satisfy a group of varying tastes, (soups, salads, seafood, mexican, steaks). The decor is homey, the bathroom needs updating, but what I most appreciate is that it's a location that didn't raise prices for New Years Eve dinner and provided a likable live band that spanned 80's, 90's, and today's music. Oh! The waitstaff was very personable too and the ambiance spans from families to all ages.

It had been a while since we had visited Valdos but we were looking for someplace different to go in the League City area and our friends had never been there, so we headed out to Valdos. It was as great as we remembered! The had the best seafood. My choice was the snapper veracruzana. Seafood was ordered by all. The portions are huge and prices reasonable. Our server was great and friendly without being intrusive. I think this is a very under appreciated jewel!

Valdo's was recommended by a staff member at the Quality Inn just down the street. The food was excellent and more than we could eat. I had the Mexico City Fish which was red snapper over a bed of rice, with creamed string-beans, garlic mashed potatoes and a carrot souffle to die for. We were served hot steamed bread with butter when we arrived. The lobster bisque was also very good. The atmosphere was very nice.
