“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

I went to this place with my boyfriends for Sunday Brunch about a month ago. I love the atmosphere more than anything else. The food was not bad.

“Nice views of Clear Lake”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We had a group of 13 out on the patio on a Saturday night. Views of the lake were very nice. Service was charming, even if a few things were messed up (2 incorrect bottles of wine brought to the table). It is a bit odd to have a salad bar in this day and age, but it was good. Everyone very much enjoyed the entrees. Prices were reasonable. We were allowed to do split tickets, which was greatly appreciated. Bills came and we inquired if gratuity was included (none of us had an itemized bill) and we were told no. However, we believe this was incorrect information from our server, who we now believe ended up with double tips.

“Expensive... Hit or miss quility... Horrible customer service.”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

The location is great, with a view of clear lake from almost anywhere in the dining area. As soon as we walked in you could smell mildew. The hostess was cheerful and giddy as any teenager with a job should be. When seated we were immediately greeted with water and bread by someone other than our waiter (typical helpers). The waiter took our drink order and seemed friendly enough. We ordered Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmesan, both $16.95 which included a self serve salad bar. The salad bar was more than basic and included many very good items. The only thing the waiter brought to our table was our drinks.. we had to ask a helper for a refill on tea. Remember, the helpers brought all the food. The Chicken Marsala was OUTSTANDING... The Chicken Parmesan, not so much. The marinara sauce was pungent and overall greasy, most likely from the melted Parmesan cheese.

Here's where the story warrants a review! We asked for the manager because I had pushed my plate away without eating it and NO ONE notice it (even after 20 minutes)... nor did anyone refill our drinks (without asking). I shared the Chicken Marsala with my wife with empty drinks. What appeared to be a very authentic Italian women came over after asking for the manager (assuming she's the owner). We explained the problems and she said, for the service she apologizes, but for the food, she understands it's not my taste and everyone else loves it. She didn't offer to make something else, but she offered to removed it from the bill... we were satisfied with this... UNTIL WE GOT THE BILL... although she did not charge for the $16.95 entree, she felt we should pay an extra $7.95 for the salad bar since I had made the trip. So, for one entree and the equivalent of one salad... we paid $33.

We will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone.
