Tookies is in Seabrook, not Kemah, as another reviewer wrote. After receiving lots of damage from hurricane Ike, it was closed for nearly 3 years but re-opened in the same spot and in the same building. Great burgers and oh the onion rings, delish. There's nothing fancy about Tookies, it's just another burger joint but sort of an institution in our area. Come on down and let us know what you think!

The burgers and onion rings are worth every accolade that we have heard in the last four years!
Air conditioned now, thank heavens.

Visited this restaurant upon a recommendation. I wasn't disappointed. As good a burger as I've had anywhere! The onion rings aren't too shabby either. First time here but definitely won't be my last!
