Fun Rock and Roll atmosphere. Great food! The burgers are wonderful with lots of options. Philly cheesesteak is a favorite. Have dined here many times with a variety of friends and family with no complaints from any age group. If you want a quite meal this is not the atmosphere for you as the music is Rock and Roll, loud and proud. Fun place for great food.

I was a little conflicted on writing this review. I wanted to give a little higher rating because everyone else loves it but... I don't it was not good enough to cause either me or my wife to want to go back any time soon so I guess that says it all. I heard a lot about the burgers and it was pretty good but I think just okay. Sure there was a lot of cheese and spices and it was the spiciest/hottest burger that I have ever had. The quality of the beef was not top notch and did not seem as fresh as it could have been. My wife had ribs that looked good and she says were pretty good but the sides were limited. Overall pretty good but I have had had better burgers.

Now this is THE best burger in the San Antonio area...BUT, you are paying $11 for that ½ lb. angus burger, so be prepared. The Selma Speed Trap burger is probably one of the top burgers they offer. It is a ½ lb. angus patty piled high with cheddar and chicken-fried-bacon then topped with a fried egg (ask for the egg over easy). The brisket is good as well as the pulled pork and their other sandwich’s (or as they call them “sandwich’z). Other burgers such as the Cowboy Burger and Texas Q' are really good too. The buns are fresh baked or at least baked off sight by a local bakery and are the foundation for all their great offerings. They do offer a 1/4 lb. build your own burger for $5 if a 1/2 lb is too much for you. And if you are a big eater, who enjoys a challenge and a colon full of American beef....then try the 1 lb. double patty "The Thing That Should Not Be" Burger. Nice variety of sauces to squirt all over your burger, sandwich’z and sides.
Sides are also top notch, with sweet pot fries, Cibolo creamed corn, fried pickles, and crispy fried black eye'd peas (sometimes not on the menu, so you may have to ask). They have a nice little kids menu, some salads and a few chicken dishes. Beverages were typical with beer and margaritas being offered and a really good sweet tea.
The service is excellent and the dining area clean and spacious. The atmosphere is set-off with a “rock-n-roll” theme. Posters and other concert and music memorabilia wrap around the restaurant. The owner, Chuck, has a real affection for Rock being a former DJ. If they are not busy, and Chuck is behind the counter, you can even get him to share a story or two with you about his “good ole days” of rubbing shoulders with some rock legends.

Found this place on TripAdvisor, decided to try it because of the great reviews. Let me cut to the chase: My wife had the wedge salad w/blue chz... she keeps talking about it. She says it is the best salad she has ever had. This is significant because she eats salads all the time and is highly critical of the foods she eats. Can't say enough about it, it was amazing. I had the "cowboy from hell" burger. It was great! Very spicy, very tasty...my only issue was the bun, toasted would have been better. The kids got Mac n chz which was good, sides are tasty as well. Atmosphere is great for anyone especially the music lover.

We just moved here a week ago and will be CBQ regulars. Great food!!!
