“Great vibe - Great Salads!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We have been frequent diners at CPT since it opened and have always had great food and usually great service. The ingredients are fresh and atmosphere is casual - yet sophisticated. If the tomato bisque is available - it's a must!

“Great lunch with a $$$$ price”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Amazing salad. Walked out spending $30 on a lunch for 2, that's a little high for my wallet. Nice for a once in a while treat:)

“Great Food, Great Place!”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

Off the beaten path, right in main road... This place will blow your mind off! It looks like an old place, but it's a really well kept locale in the inside and outside seating. Food is really good, specially the brick fire oven pizzas! Salads and beef too! Great atmosphere and decent prices!

“Favorite place in San Angelo”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

I recently visited my husband in San Angelo for a few days over Valentine's Day weekend. We saved Cork and Pig for my last evening there and it was amazing! We ordered the deviled eggs for appetizers, and the New York strip steak and the Southwestern pizza to share for dinner. Hands down the best food we experienced here! And we ate all over the place the 5 days I was there. I wish we would have gone earlier because I'm sure we would have been back!

“Do NOT sit at the bar inside”
Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

We generally always sit at the bar in whatever establishment we dine it. Having just recently relocated to the San Angelo area, we have been searching for some new places to become locals.

We stopped in last night at the Cork and Pig Tavern and of course made our way to the bar. We quickly realized this was a mistake. We drank one beer and left.

The bar is situated in the area where they are actively washing dishes and the mix of the smell of whatever chemicals they use to wash dishes, the steam from the hot water and the mix of the food coming out of the kitchen was TERRIBLE. I am not a food service inspector, but in my opinion, the entire setting was an outbreak of something waiting to happen.

We heard the food was good but we weren't going to be finding out for ourselves after seeing the debacle of the bar, dish room and sevice area for the kitchen being all mixed together.

Need to think about a quick remodel,
