Pulled pork was great. Atmosphere is ok. Service above average. Good for a different menu than you usually find.

So far, not so good.

Not even sitting down yet. They gave away our table in less than ten minutes from is getting the notification that it was ready. After that, we were told we'd be the next to be seated, but we're still waiting. Correction: we just sat down. The food had better be great. I'm extremely unimpressed.

Final thoughts:
The food was delicious, the server was excellent, the portion sizes were amazing. The hostess was deplorable. After she gabe away our table and then failed to follow through on her promise to seat us next, she didn't even have the decency to bid us farewell or thank us for coming in, as hosts and hostesses are supposed to. Not only that, but she made eye contact, and then turned away. I recommend the food, but the hostess needs a new goddamned job.

We were visiting a friend in San Angelo and she wanted to takes us to The Grill for dinner since it is one of her favorites. This is a popular place for young professionals and others of all ages. The meats (large pork chops, brisket, steaks, chicken, etc.) were cooked on an open grill and served with various sides, many with huge helpings of freshly mashed potatoes. One employee worked hard behind the grill peeling large russet potatoes, so we knew the mashes were made from scratch. Everything was seasoned well and nicely presented, though not fussily so. The pork chops were very tender and so large. The Grill has a full bar and serves ample pourings.

We were visiting San Angelo and looked at TripAdvisor to decide where to have dinner. The Grill was near our hotel and rated highly so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. I had the Snapper and my husband had the Surf and Turf. We both absolutely loved our meal. It was delicious! Diana, our waitress, recommended our meal and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!!!

We stop at The Grill every time we’re in San Angelo. Have tried most of the menu, everything good, but love the Sunday brunch! Great staff! Recommend it to all of our friends in Midland,
