You just have to go to experience the hospitality and beauty of this lovely old bed and breakfast in Salado. It has the charm of a small town with the sophistication of the city~ you can choose your experience. The Inn keepers love what they do and it shows! Rob and Suzanne are wonderful, interesting people who take pride in their business. Go with your family ( we did ) or with your friends, you will love it. We can't wait to come back and see ya'll!

The Salado Inn is a quaint restored B&B right on main street in the center of Salado, Texas which right off of I35 a few miles south of Waco. Some of the rooms have wood burning fireplaces which are really nice on cold winter nights. The Salado Inn also caters to weddings. Our only complaint is breakfast which generally consists of a quiche and waffles.

This past weekend 4 sisters met for our annual "Sister weekend" and stayed at the lovely Inn at Salado for the second year. This is a quaint historical Inn that is very well kept. The Inn is located right in the heart of Main Street so walking either direction to shops/restaurants is no problem. Beautiful patio to sit and have morning coffee before a delicious breakfast. Owner and staff are nothing but accommodating and smiles. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were large and spacious. We will be back next year!

Room Tip: Lambreth and Orgain Suite were wonderful and spacious. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Cottage at the Inn at Salado for a two nights getaway. The owner was extremely nice and friendly. He made us feel very welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast. We love the fact that the shops are walking distance. The Cottage is huge, it was clean, has a nice big oversize tub and two bathrooms. The only thing I would had really appreciated was having a tv in the room. It made it a little boring especially with 2 nights stay.

We visited the Inn at Salado for a girl's weekend. It is a nice bed and breakfast right in the heart of Salado. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was helpful. We stayed in the Orgain suite. It is one huge room with 2 beds. We managed to sleep 4 women in the room and it didn't feel too cramped. There is a private balcony with 2 rocking chairs overlooking the street. You have to walk up a couple flights of stairs to get to the Orgain suite so I wouldn't recommend if that would be a problem. I would stay there again if I ever return to Salado.

Room Tip: The Orgain suite has a great private balcony.

The Inn at Salado was great. Loved the peaceful rooms. The location is great, very close to all the boutiques, and restaurants. Breakfast was a treat, loved everything they served. The Spinach Quiche was great and the coffe was just perfect. Service was nothing but smiles. Our bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and spacious, we stayed in the Barton Room really nice. Very good view from every window. Felt safe walking around, the sorroundings were very nice. We visited just during the holidays and the town was looking really cute with all the christmas decorations. Will come back to the Inn at Salado as soon as we are able to. Totally excellent service.

Room Tip: I Think our room was perfect. The Barton upstairs above the entrance.

We stayed in the Orgain suite, quite lovely. We sat on our private balcony which faced the street and had wine and talked after our delicious meal at the stagecoach in. It is a perfect location, we walked to dinner and back, a little dark but a nice distance. Bkf was really good and the grounds are beautiful.

Room Tip: Nice, quiet get away, right in town so shopping and dining right there.
