Be prepared to potentially wait in line (at least their fast). Had the original and a cherry kolache. Really spectacular. Add a cup of Farmer Bros. coffee and it's hard to beat.
Saw this place on TV show about great eats; had to see if hype was worth it. The answer: ABSOLUTELY! Just about missed the road it sits on (thank you GPS for the save). Got there at 11a roughly and the line was 10-12 people deep out the door?! Despite that, we were able to get in and order within 15-20 mins and had our donuts in another 8-10 mins. As for actual product, a donut that is literally "larger than my head" had an exceptional quality to it! Price was decent (Texas sized donut was the same as a full dozen) at $6. And like most donut shops, the "signature" item is the best item, hands down!
Went on July 4th at 430 in the morning when they opened in the drive thru. Ordered dozen of assorted donuts. They were fresh and tasted good but the family agreed that Krispy Kreme is still our favorite glazed donut. Had to give a try and we did. Service was great. Would visit again if in the area.
I love donuts, but usually prefer long johns, cake donuts, or donuts with some type of frosting. These are the best glazed donuts you will ever eat, especially if the are still warm in the box which they usually are.
