Good food, price is great for the quantity of food you get. Service is on time. I think the tables are too close, need more room when passing others while eating.

We were in a group of 7, and this place was perfect in terms of food and location! The outside bar was a great place to gather as our group arrived and enjoy each others company. Indoors the seating is plentiful and great for groups. The food was great, and the menu is simple enough to not over complicate the ordering process.

I have a native Texan friend who frequently expouses on the awesomeness that is the Salt Lick. I am happy to report that it easily lived up to the legend. Go family style-- an absolute value at $20/head-- and get all of the perfectly cooked supple brisket (ask for the burnt ends!), sausage and pork ribs. All were simply amazing. Eat all you can, but don't forget to save room for the equally excellent home-made cobbler for dessert.

I wish they made their ribs dry rub. The BBQ sauce is sweet for my taste. This is Texas not Chicago. Great Venue and I like that you can now get a bucket of beer and a bottle of wine at the tasting bar next door. The sides are excellent. Cobblers a lot more dough than fruit. I like a lot of fruit. They do make their cobblers the way my mom did which is nice.
