Charming and historic hotel in an out of the way small town without much else to offer unless you are interested in a place to which to escape or want to look at bats during bat season. Bring your own food to take advantage of the wonderful kitchen plus to stay away from in town restaurants which do not have much to offer. The owners have an interest in history and architecture which they have used with skill in furnishing and decorating this wonderful old hotel. You can really get away from it all here with a stay of a few days. Sit back and enjoy browsing the library. Chill out!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with wi fi if you need it. Some rooms are too far to get service (which is always av...

This is a real gem in the middle of sheep and goat country. A lovely place with a gracious hostess.
I think it is now my favorite Texas hotel.
Beautifully furnished lobby. A great place to stop on your way to Seminole Canyon or points west.

We had the most brilliant stay at the Rocksprings Hotel in Texas. It was a fantastic old hotel that felt like a warm, comfy home. everything about the place felt elegant, homely and clean. The hostess Deborah, was absolutely gorgeous - friendly, helpful and knowledgable . It is worth going out of your way to stay at this hotel. The kitchen facilities were restaurant quality, stainless steel with every cooking utensil and pan possible. Bring your own food and cook up a storm, then eat in one of the fine rooms downstairs.Upstairs, the bed rooms were warm and comfortable, it was a brilliant stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are brilliant

Another successful trip to Rocksprings with another pleasant stay at the hotel. Everything we wrote last time is still true, but some spring cleaning needs to be done in the rooms. Other than that, there are no complaints!

We had the privilege of staying at this charming hotel three times while we searched for property in this hidden gem of the Texas Hill Country. Each visit was made perfect by the warm welcome by the owner and her precious dog, Roscoe. After each day's long and tiring tour of backroads and dusty walks, we returned to the peace and quiet of the hotel. Sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine and practically touching the stars was the perfect way to end each evening. My parents will surely be staying here on our future visits as we camp on our property and prepare for a future in this beautiful part of Texas.

This hotel is reason enough to come to Rocksprings. Debra is a charming hostess and makes you feel like part of the family. The hotel itself is a wonderful place with beautiful rooms, parlors, dining rooms, verandas and a kitchen that feel like a home away from home. We will come again. Absolutely loved it.
