“A restaurant in Rockport worth coming back to again & again”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014

Owners Laura & Jim are back with their new Paradise Key Bar & Grill location. Missed them here in Rockport. The wait is over and their new place is outstanding: Food, Views, Décor, Space, 1 inside bar & 1 outside...This is going to be THE restaurant in Rockport to dine at. Our Amberjack and Crabcakes were superb...Congrats Laura & Jim, you have outdone yourselves. Finally have a restaurant in Rockport worth coming back to again & again...

“There's a new place in town!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2014

We ate here last Saturday and really enjoyed the whole experience! You cannot beat the views of the bay and estuaries! Our food was quite good and we had a very friendly waiter. They had a great live band so we stayed for drinks at the bar.

“Great place for drinks, appetizers & music”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

The atmosphere is great. Coastal view, on the water. Outside bar and seating area. You can watch the boats come and go. Great view of the sunset. Has an upper deck great for the scenic view and photos but no wait staff service up there. We had dinner there and sat outside. The food was good but not great. The menu said our dinners came with homemade chips but instead we got fries. Dinner was also to come with Tropical cole slaw. I got the cole slaw but my husband did not. Tropical cole slaw has pineapple in it. I didn't care for it so I gave mine to my husband. He did like it. We didn't ask the waitress about the homemade chips versus fries discrepancy as we were with people we had just met and felt it better not to mention it. The highlight was the music outside. There was a man singing and he had a great voice. He sang different genres of oldies but goodies. We probably won't go there again for dinner but it's a great place to take out of town guests for drinks and appetizers and really good music. The coastal environment and views are nice. They were allowing smoking outside. For smokers that's a plus because there aren't very many places that allow it anymore. For non smokers it's probably a minus. We did enjoy the evening and most especially the music.
